The eyes caught mine, I was glued at every corner. (Try looking at the picture from the edge of your screen) I looked at the eyes and I thought how to capture the hope in that child’s eyes but the dismay because of the circumstances surrounding them that are beyond their ability. It is that feeling I tried to capture when I came across this picture. It had purpose and emotions.

I titled it Barcode Child. All credit to https://www.tumblr.com/search/African+child, the source of the picture that captured that emotional poetry too well. As a creative thinker I want digital art to tell the hopeful story of that child to the audience. Hopefully, this piece will provoke us to re-evaluate ourselves on what needs to be urgently addressed.
