Adam Balcerek was born in Poland. He moved to Germany, where he was studying architecture at the Faculty of Architecture at the Brandenburg University of Technology in Cottbus. After graduation he was working 4 years as architect in the one of the most prestigious architecture offices in Europe (RKW Rhode Kellermann Wawrowsky). While working as an architect, he decided to become a photographer.

He quit his job, moved to Paris and spent months assisting world famous photographers. Among the others he worked with: Patrick Demarchelier, Craig McDean, Patric Shaw, Solve Sundsbo, Sofia & Mauro or Sarah Moon…

Currently, he lives in Warsaw, succeeding in fashion and advertising photography. He often works abroad (shoots in France, Spain, Germany, as well as Morocco, Uganda, China or Philippines).

Has worked for magazines like: Moves NewYork, Glamour, Prestige France, Vogue China; companies like: Sony, Oriflame, FashionOne-TV, Toyota and agencies like: Satchi&Satchi, BBDO, TBWA, Scholz&Friends…

His photographs won many prestigious awards.
